~Primitive Quilts and Projects Summer 2014

This  picture was taken about 5 summers ago at a Lavender Festival near-by. At the time, I had no idea that someday I would have my 'Lavender Ladies Punch Needle Group' on Facebook and how much I would treasure it. If you are not a member, please come and join us!

I am the mother of eight grown children- five sons and three daughters. I have six grandchildren and have been married for 33 years.

Throughout all the years that I raised my kids, I always had projects going- paint projects, punching and hooking. I didn't have the time I do now, but I managed between 'stirs' as I made dinner or while waiting for children in the car. It was always my 'far-off' dream that I would someday turn what I loved doing  most and what came most naturally to me into a business. I always thought that if I could do that, then I could also be flexible to still care for the needs of my family and now- it is! That is what I do. It is not in between 'stirs' anymore but in between visits from my grand kids, mending broken hearts, celebrating accomplishments and praying for them all as my kids have ventured off into their own lives.

What I never imagined was the other women I would meet along the way and friendships I would make and enjoy so much!

A note about when you order~

See that big bunch photographed above? That is my family and that is not all of them! Since that photo, I have had more grandchildren- a total of six. A son is missing as well.

I work full time at my business while weaving in grandchildren and my children's lives. I do not work on weekends. Orders take time. If you are in a hurry, please just let me know or if you want to check up on an order, just send me a note!  I work as fast as I can and am always juggling several kits and kit orders at once. I appreciate your patience so very much!
